Dear Nigel,
"A penny for your thoughts" - how many?
It is said that we have about 80,000 thoughts each
day. The bad news is that most of them are the
same as we had the day before. The good news is
that there is something that you can do to influence
your thoughts.
You may be aware that when you feel stressed,
under pressure, in panic, full of fear, worrying and
such then the traffic of thoughts increases.
Conversely, when you are fresh and relaxed you are
not so aware of the thought activity and your better
ideas bubble up.
What or Who are you?
It happened that twice in the last week I came
across
different sources saying, "You are what you think". If
you recorded all your thoughts that would give you a
photograph of what you are. BUT if I can influence
my thoughts, then my thoughts are not who I am.
How would you like to free up some space on the
thought highway and make room for more creative
and innovative ideas?
